Himalaya herbals neem facial mask
Neem, also known as Azadirachta indica, together with Tumeric (curcuma longa) are the active ingredients in this antibacterial face pack. Fuller’s earth forms the base of this mud pack.
This formula is based on Ayurveda and modern science. It works by getting rid of the bacteria that causes acne while unclogging the pores, thereby tackling the root of the pimple problem.
This very dark green mask is spreads very easily and thickly. It looks like those seaweed masks but smells weird. It makes my acne ridden skin sting slightly as I leave it on my face to dry. It is probably too strong for sensitive skin as it feels rather drying already.
— gone to remove the mask –
– ok, I’m back –
Although this is meant for oily pimple prone skin, it is supposed to rejuvenate and firm the skin and to give it a natural glow.
I used damp facial cotton to remove the hardened mask 15 minutes later. It comes off like clumps of kelp. It reminds me a lot of the kelp masks I used and which I really loved a long time ago.
Skin felt soft and clean. Zits are still there, but these things take time. For one thing, it is excellent for unclogging pores and getting rid of the gunk.
Verdict: I’ll continue using this twice a week to see if it clears my rampant acne.
