himalaya herbals acne and pimple cream
This ayurvedic formula contains astringent and cooling extracts from the silk cotton tree and anti inflammatory ingredients from the five-leaved chaste tree.
My friend who is also in her forties and has acne-ridden skin, swears by it.
I love the acne treatments from Payot and Dr Brandt but they are too pricey for my modest budget. So I’ve been hunting around for budget acne treatments, in particular, pimple creams.
This light beige cream blends nicely into the skin. The first time I used it, in agreed with my skin. I liked it enough to use as a moisturizer/light foundation base all over my acne-ridden skin.
Yeah, I had a really bad acne breakout recently which went out of control. Payot’s pimple cream and mask applied at night subdued it, so skin looks better in the morning, but after a day at work, my skin’s a mess again.
Himalaya herbals seems much less effective. I don’t get that visible improvement after use, even though I leave it on all day long.
The initial uses were fine. But for the last 2 nights, when I applied Himalaya Herbals Acne-n-pimple cream, my skin began to itch slightly an hour later. I’m not sure whether it was the cream or the dust, from hunting for stuff under my kid’s bed.
So far, the results have been disappointing. Then again, I’ve been using it for only a few days. I’ll try it for 2 weeks more and see how it goes.
