Braun Epilator - Silk Epil

I’ve been using this epilator for years. It is perfect for taut skin. It leave legs and arms smooth and hair-free. For underarms, you’d need to pull the skin taut before using it, and even then , it isn’t so effective where skin is loose.

To use, plug it in and roll it over clean dry skin slowly, so that it can pull out the hair. Use it like you might a shaver.

What happens is that the mechanism inside closes in on the hairs and yanks the hairs out. In other words, it hurts.. if you aren’t used to it. After a while, you’d get used to it, and might even find it akin to a painful massage.

It comes with a detachable roller and a brush. You can remove the roller and use the brush to clean away the trapped hair.

Verdict: my favourite way for removing unwanted body hair.
